my best time is 5:40 and I felt like I was constantly 'inking' in the digits. average time is 6-8 minutes (all my bests are under 8minutes), but every so often I get stuck and go to 15 minutes.

if I don't have a puzzle solved after 15 minutes, I use the verify button, because I surely messed something up royally somewhere.

Just because YOU can't do it doesn't mean others can't. My best time in easy is 36s with no cheats. Trust me it's very much doable.

My new personal best is 5:04! No cheats used.

My best for extreme is 2:03. The other top 10 are all under 3:00. A typical game runs 4 to 5 mins. Some rare games will take me up to 10 mins, when x-wings or hidden triples or quads are part of the solution.

I've found that the fastest games have some characteristics. 1) there are more than one number which only have one digit already on the board 2) when one digit has no numbers already on the board.

No, I don't cheat. I don't need to; I'm only playing against myself. I don't post my scores or play against a friend. I play to waste time or to take my mind off of other things.

Frankly, Extreme is often far too easy and are an annoyance when they are so ultra fast. I have lately resorted to grabbing games from other sources in order to be challenged at all. My current source lists the games as Medium, and they typically require from 10 to 20 minutes to solve, with the occasional 6 or 7 minute game thrown in. I tried one of their Hard games, and they were beyond my skill level. One had two x-wings and a swordfish all in one step of the solution. That was beyond my current knowledge level, though I recall studying those some 10 years ago.

So, these fast times absolutely can be done without cheating. And, to the devs, if these are Extreme, could you perhaps consider adding an 'Impossible' level so that we could have some games that are a bit more challenging? I hate adding Custom games.

Or, add a way to scan another game and import it into your game? That would be lovely.

2:02 without any cheats. Average time is about three minutes, like 2:30-3:30 is typical.

On my current phone it's 1:45. I wasn't always logged on but I'm 90% sure its my pb. My last phone had a better top 10. Had to be under 2:15 to make the top 10. I think 3:00 would make top 10 on my current phone. I've gone under 2 minutes in at least 3 separate phones now. I haven't done much extreme on this phone. Takes way too much concentration. On easy I can just play while I'm in line or at the airport.

Just did 3:59. I'm pretty happy with that time. But I do believe that there are people who are gifted with the ability to just look at these puzzles and "see" the outcome. For them it is a matter of how fast they can type in the numbers. Even then, I don't know how you manage to do that as fast as the best times posted every day. I couldn't type in random numbers as fast as that. 🤔

My quickest time on extreme is 5:26. Most of my sub-10 min games are from almost a year ago with the exception of one a month ago. I remember getting the occasional extreme completed without pencil marks. (Shouldn't happen imo)
