My personal best is 3 minutes and 20 seconds and i think I am fine with that. Not bad, personally. But I think I can go faster so maybe I should try doing it again. I like the thrill, not gonna lie.

My best valid time for extreme is 2:03, and my top 10 are all under 2:20.

Sorry, I cannot see how some extreme puzzles can be done in under 2 or 3 minutes.

I'm not an expert, the best I've done is 9 minutes.

Try tapping all the numbers in the available boxes with a touch screen, see how long that takes you. No thinking time involved.

I'd like to see a timed video of even a 3 minute completed extreme game. It would go so fast, us mere mortals would not be able to follow the technique.

I started this game a couple of months ago. My first attempts were in the 10+ minutes range. Then I used the "digit first", as well as other display settings.

3.16 but i can do it faster... i believe!

Best time is 1:16. My average is much higher, probably around 2 minutes.

For those wondering about how times like this are possible (considering you are filling out 60+ spots), I find it much easier to do a digit at a time.

I start with whatever digit has the most already filled out (using the indicators on the corners of the digit buttons). I find I get my best times when I can get a digit finished without needing a second pass.

My top 10 times are all 2 mins or under, quickest being 1:42 or so.

I too find it hard to believe some of the times of people completing extreme puzzles. I looked up the Guiness book of records for the fastest time completing a "very easy" puzzle and it was 1:23 in 2006. So either they stopped competing in Guiness book of records or the people claiming less than 1:23 for extreme puzzles are cheating.
There must be a way of validating that each number entered was entered using logic and in a logical order rather than copying from a puzzle that was solved using a computer.

I did a search for Guiness World record for fastest sudoku. This was a "very easy" puzzle in 2006 the time was 1:23.

So either they stopped taking Guiness records of sudoku or people uploading times less than 1:23 for and extreme puzzle are cheating.

There must be a way of validating a puzzle to ensure each number entered was done using logic and in a logical order rather than just copying from a puzzle completed by a computer.

2. close apps
3. solve the puzzle somewhere else
4. resume the puzzle
5. fill in the answer as fast as you can

I've been playing it for years, my best time is 1:37 (with no cheats) and my average is around 2 - 2:30
