I use digit first. At first my times were a lot slower than when I used cell first, but once you get used to it, the times simply drop.
My best times now are:
Easy: 54s
Medium: 1:09
Hard: 2:32
Extreme: 2:56

Unfortunately I don't have a clue how to take significant chunks off of these times. It's probably close to as good as I can be.
