In my opinon, it's ignorance. My top times are:
easy 38s
medium 55s
hard (1:22) 82s
extreme (1:40) 100s

All these times except medium came within the last month. Not to mention my next top 6 times in medium (from 61-68s) also happened in the last month. These pbs when compared to the usual daily pbs would rank around 10-15 for the app. As of now, easy-hard would be top 8 and extreme would be ranked 16. I see some of the names above me constantly. Names such as Chiraag, phrisbee, AaronL. I doubt they cheat. They just play several hours daily.

It all comes down to set up and strategy. If you do digit first entry (which is where you tap the number first and then every square you tap fills as that number), and solve numbers one at a time, I'm positive you can comfortably get under a minute once you get in the zone. Another strategy that I've recently used (which I believe I pbed in hard and extreme) is to hide the clock. my easy pb could've been 5 seconds better if I hadn't seen the clock and choked when I realized how fast it was.

I've had this app for over 12 years. Playing on and off, mostly off. There have been chunks where I played a few hours per day and got significantly better. Even now, I mostly play on days that I have to travel or have free time.

On my current phone it's 1:45. I wasn't always logged on but I'm 90% sure its my pb. My last phone had a better top 10. Had to be under 2:15 to make the top 10. I think 3:00 would make top 10 on my current phone. I've gone under 2 minutes in at least 3 separate phones now. I haven't done much extreme on this phone. Takes way too much concentration. On easy I can just play while I'm in line or at the airport.

Just hit 39 seconds yesterday. That was my fastest ever I believe. I've played this game on and off for over a dozen years across multiple phones with at least 3 2+year gaps between playing. During the past 2 years I probably played seriously 10 days out of the year which were days I was flying by myself. On my current phone I believe my 10th fastest time is 46 seconds.

My android lags frequently and I still managed 1:33 a couple days ago. 11 seconds under my second best time. About 1:20 I realized how fast my time was gonna be and it was so overwhelming that I froze up (I'm not clutch). It could have been 1:25 ish. On medium I got 2:36 But I hardly ever play. On hard I can get about 5 minutes. I dont play it much but I felt in the zone and posted 5 sub-6-minute times yesterday. I've been doing this since March Back then a time of 10 minutes used to make it in my top 10 on easy. Now that won't even make my top 10 on hard. It's crazy how my times just steadily dropped. None of my records lasted longer than a month. Last month my best time was 2:04 now I can clock in at 1:55 consistently and miss my own top 10. My goal is 1:20 on easy then I'll play medium until I get about 1:45 Then maybe 2:30 on hard and 3:45 on expert.

I only played 10 or so games because I dislike extreme but I got 14 minutes one time thinking I was playing on hard and it turned out to be extreme. Some times I'll have like all but 10-15 squares solved in the first 3 minutes. Then I'll just sit and stare for 20 minutes. Get's very boring so I avoid extreme.

My best times have been going down. 1:45-1:55 is all my top 10. Every week it changes. Just a month ago I thought 4:00 was blazing but I get that when I'm groggy in the morning. I noticed I'm faster when I'm listening to music although I haven't done so in a while which probably explains why I haven't been beating my best times. on medium its like 2:30 but I rarely play.

got 1:50 on easy 97-98%(cant remember)
2:48 on medium. 98%
6:something on hard 85%+ (not sure)
14: something on extreme. 30%+( not sure)
I play on easy about 60% of the time. Hard 30%. Medium 7% and extreme about 3%. Not quite sure though. If I'm in the zone I can usually get 5-6 consecutive times under 2:10.The only thing I can improve on easy is my screen since I'm entering them in almost as I see it but I can't click precisely.On medium my best time is about a minute above the rest of my times and on hard its like 1:30. My usual times on extreme are about an hour. I normally get too frustrated with them to finish.
