I LOVE your sudoku app and I'm absolutely addicted to it. I've never experienced any problems with it and I've been playing it for several years.
However, beginning a week or 2 ago I started getting pop-up ads for other AppStore games. When they appear one of 2 things happens:
1. The app immediately crashes.
2. I hit X and close the ad and the the app crashes.
Either way, when I resume my game I've lost my entries but the time remains the same. This is getting very frustrating. I've searched your forum and FAQ for a solution and the best suggestion I've found is to uninstall the app the reinstall. I'd like to avoid this if possible because I don't want to lose my high scores.
Also, I noticed in your change log that the most current version is 9.2.1 but in the AppStore it says that I am using the most current version 9.0.2. I have an iPhone 5S with the most current iOS.
I appreciate the admins taking the time to read and reply because I truly am one of the biggest fans of your app.

Me too Stacy. I hope Genia reads your post. The pop ups ruin the game. Ruin the app

I used to only get ad banners across the top and I'm fine with that. I don't even notice them anymore. But the since the pop ups began showing, I just get so frustrated. I have actually bought the premium version but don't use it since it keeps a separate list of high scores.

I'm seeing this too. What really sucks about this bug is that it loses the last several entries, sometimes resetting me to the beginning of the game. This app is now UNUSABLE.

Thank you, all, for bringing this to our attention. This behavior is not intentional and is a result of a rogue advertiser doing something that's against the rules. We are working on a fix.
Meanwhile, to help us identify the offender, we ask that if this keeps happening to you that you send an email to sudoku@genina.com letting as know what type of ad you were taken to. Also, if you email us, please tell us the device you are on and your location (country / state). Send us an email each time it happens, if it's not too much trouble.
Thank you.
